We are a member owned, not-for-profit clean energy cooperative incorporated on May 6, 2022 in
La Conner, WA. Our core purpose is to encourage clean energy using locally available resources
and to become a valued source of information promoting greener and more sustainable
communities in the Skagit Valley. This will be accomplished by establishing an active and
engaged membership of local community individuals and businesses. We will be working with
local and regional elected officials and industry organizations to influence policy changes to
promote renewables and energy efficiency. As a cooperative we will uphold the 7 cooperative
principles:
